7th SG-ANZICS 2020 will be Postponed in Response to Novel Coronavirus (2019-nCoV) Situation

Dear Delegates,

In view of the evolving 2019 novel-Coronavirus situation in Singapore, it is with regret that the 7th SG-ANZICS Asia Pacific Intensive Care Forum (SG-ANZICS), due to take place on 4 – 6 April 2020, has been postponed.

The Society of Intensive Care Medicine (SICM) together with our partner organisation, the Australian & New Zealand Intensive Care Society, have been monitoring the situation very closely, and this decision was made after considered deliberation. Our first and top priority is the health and safety of all the participants at our Forum, and we apologise for all inconveniences caused.

A formal letter of this announcement will be provided to all our delegates who have registered for this event to assist with appeals for travel refunds.

We thank you for your continued support and hope to see you at next year’s installation of SG-ANZICS:
  • 15-16 April 2021, Pre-Forum Workshops
  • 17-19 April 2021, Main Forum

Meanwhile as we grapple with this new emerging infectious disease, we extend our gratitude to our friends in the Intensive Care Community who have been working bravely and tirelessly at the frontlines.

We look forward to seeing you again in 2021.
